Community Manager

Background

Aliro Quantum is on a mission to build the quantum internet— the next networking revolution that will solve big problems in medicine, cybersecurity, AI, astronomy, and so much more. Spun out of Harvard University and backed by leading investors, Aliro delivers a full quantum network stack to build and operate entanglement-based quantum networks, enabling ultra secure communication, clustered quantum computing, and quantum sensing. It’s a giant undertaking, but our team of quantum experts are up for it. Want to join us?

The Role

Aliro is seeking a Community Manager to help us build a movement of people who will build the quantum internet— from technologists to government officials to entrepreneurs and beyond. This is a great opportunity to get in early at an established startup with massive potential. The ideal candidate has experience in B2B community relations; you are a connector, communicator, and a doer with a healthy curiosity for deep tech. As a friendly voice of Aliro, you will oversee social media, events, newsletters, partner, and website management.

Responsibilities

  • Events:  Manage Aliro’s events calendar. Coordinate sponsorships, speaking, attendees, materials, and promotion. Produce Aliro webinars. Attend and form new contacts.
  • Social Media:  Run Aliro’s social media accounts with best practices and energy. Share useful content, respond quickly, and build Aliro’s following.

  • Content:  Plan and execute Aliro’s content calendar with lots of team input and contribution. Ensure we publish a continuous drum beat of content reflecting our QN thought leadership.
  • Public Relations:  Work with our PR consultancy to ensure they have the content and updates they need to engage with press and analysts.
  • Partnerships:  Help forge and nurture partner relationships with other vendors and curators of quantum developer communities.
  • Learning:  As a key representative of the Aliro brand, you will need to articulate what we do, which is not always easy! We don’t expect you to be a quantum expert, but we are looking for an insatiable learner who will independently research and ask enough questions to be dangerous— staying current with what we do and our competitive positioning.
